I'm welcoming a client from out of state for a 7-day cleanse. It's her seventh year detoxing with me, and I'm thrilled to catch up with her. She’s staying at a nearby luxury resort that is health-minded and stunning! I’m elated to start her cleanse. To keep up with energy demands, I rely on the potent superfoods bacopa and shilajit. In all of my elixir tonic recipes, I prefer to use Natural Shilajit Resin for the simple reason, it's the best!
My client has been a Holistic Wellness Coaching client on and off for seven years. This week she's attending a juice fasting retreat to cleanse on a cellular level while releasing toxins.
I always have dinner upon arrival for all of my guests along with a sweet treat. Tonight’s sweet treats are these divine Bacopa shilajit brownies!
What are the healing properties of Bacopa?
The healing properties of bacopa date back centuries. Scientific studies show that Bacopa has demonstrated beneficial effects on cognitive performance, verbal learning, delayed word recall, memory acquisition, and eliminating anxiety.
There is some preliminary research suggesting that Bacopa monnieri could have antidepressant and anxiolytic effects, possibly by reducing cortisol secretion and the depletion of dopamine and serotonin during chronic stress.

The Healing properties of Shilajit
Shilajit is another brain tonic that can change the future of your health for the better.
According to a 2022 study, taking daily shilajit supplements also helped improve bone mineral density in postmenopausal women with bone mass loss. Additionally, another 2022 study concluded that shilajit is a safe dietary supplement that can potentially treat several diseases, including osteoporosis.

One of my favorite references on shilajit is this article in Medical News Today!
Throughout history, Shilajit has played a vital role in traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda and Tibetan Medicine. In Ayurvedic medicine, Shilajit is considered a potent natural remedy with multifaceted benefits. Referred to as a rasayana, meaning “rejuvenator,” it prevents illness and enhances the quality of life.
Traditionally, it has been utilized for enhancing physical strength. In Sanskrit, “Shilajit” means “destroyer of weakness and conqueror of mountains.” It is also known for promoting longevity, its anti-aging benefits, and preventing disease through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, rendering it a cornerstone in Ayurvedic practices.
Let's make the brownies!
These vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free brownies using these two superfoods are an absolute game-changer when it comes to your health. Brownies have earned their status as a classic treat due to their irresistibly rich and fudgy texture and chocolaty flavor. Perfect for just about any occasion, prepping a batch of brownies is an easy way to satisfy everyone. For those living a vegan lifestyle, however, this can be tricky. By swapping out the eggs for creamy avocados and using dairy-free chocolate chips, you'll end up with a moist and decadent dessert that will fool anyone.
Adding avocado to the brownies, masks, the strong, pungent flavor of the superfoods, bacopa and shilajit.
Avocado Superfoods Brownies
To make this recipe, you'll only need 6 ingredients. First on your list will be to pick avocados that are slightly soft, but not overly ripe. The stem of the avocado should pull out easily, and the inside should be green and bright with no black areas. Next up, grab some raw unsweetened cacao powder, coconut sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and dairy-free chocolate chips!
Ingredients
2 medium avocados
½ cup unsweetened cacao powder
⅓ cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips
1 tsp Natural shilajit Resin (Be sure and use my discount code DETOX10 when placing your order)
1/2 tsp bocopa
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Slice avocados in half, then scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork.
Add cacao powder, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda and stir well to combine.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour mixture into a parchment-lined, 9x4-inch loaf pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove brownies from the pan and allow to cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
Enjoy these with your favorite nut or oat milk without shame or guilt!
Once cool, cut and serve.
