The other morning I was having a conversation with a dear friend about the difference of fuc---- and making love. During our conversation he said something that made me sad….he said he thinks all sex is "fuc----" and "that there really is no making love". He followed it with "its either being dominated or dominating another". I stood there in disbelief then blurted out the words " I whole heartily disagree"!
My view…"fuc----" is between two people who barely know one another. There is no concern really of the other persons needs or desires, there is no depth, no heart connection. Its just fuc---!.
Making love is between two people who generally care for one another, feel one another and understand one anthers needs on an energetic level. The "act" itself is drawn out with mutual pleasuring over and over again prior to actual penetration. Its about satisfying your partners emotional needs along with and usually prior to the physical. There is a genuine care and concern of the other persons heart being divinely cared for and protected! When the act of "making love" is performed correctly both parties needs and desires are met!
I'm sure many will read this and say "did she just quote the bible in the same article as the word fucking is in"? Yes…I did:) Below (The Corinthians bible verse) is what "making love" is to me! It is being patient enough to wait as long as it takes for BOTH parties to feel fully ready. Even if this means waiting until marriage! It is kind enough to always respect your partners needs and desires once the act has began. It is not selfish…always giving as it receives. It forgives and does not withhold the act from a mate once married under any circumstances. It is honest and truthful at all times….it is eternally faithful! The last part…the most important, it protects, trusts and preserves. To me this means always preserving your relationship while nurturing it with your partner on ALL levels!
Corinthians 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

So now I ask all of you…do you feel there is a difference between making love and f------? I would love to hear your thoughts:) Be sure and express yourselves freely!
