Weekly Astrology

Luna’s stabilizing link with capable Saturn makes it easy to stay on task and keep ourselves committed. In my particular chart, Mercury is syncing up with Uranus, bringing game-changing conversations into my personal life. This is a time for all of us to stay grounded by eating more herbs, edible flowers and green leafy vegetables. Do not deny yourself fruit for it is of the gods! Nothing cleans your internal house faster than a large mono fruit meal. Especially during the summer months!
Crystal choice of the week
A stone that is particularly grounding for us all at this time is the clear quartz. As we are clearing out negative energy from the past.

Amethyst Amethyst crystals are known as the master healer of all the stones. I have these in every corner of my home and carry one with me as I workout in order to absorb the bodily health benefits.
Rose quarts
Ah the stone of mother. I sleep with a rose quartz underneath my pillow each night.
Citrine
I have a citrine on my bedside table and encourage my clients to have one near where they sleep as well. Citrine clears the mind of worries. An excellent crystal to have near where you sleep.
Jasper
Jasper is known as the supreme nurturing stone. This is an excellent stone for empowerment!
Osidian
Osbian is a protective stone. I love wearing this stone around my neck!

Herbal Remedies
The herb that is ideal for us to eat at this time is Dames Rocket! The leaves are rich in vitamin C! This little flower was used to treat scurvy in the olden days. I found some while hiking last weekend and have enjoyed it in my morning tea (recipe below). Be mindful of the amount you use however! One - two little four leaf flowers is more than enough to make a healing herbal tonic or tea. In large amounts, this pretty little flower may induce vomiting! Seeing all the gunk we are currently trying to expel from the last nine nine-year cycle, maybe vomiting is needed! 🙂

Dames Rocket detox tea herbal remedies recipe
Ingredients
1 cup freshly brewed Gynostemma tea
1 TB maple syrup
1/4 tsp ceylon cinnamon
2 tsp coconut oil
two dames rocket flowers
Directions
Bring tea to a boil, add coconut oil, cinnamon and maple syrup and blend. Place the delicate dames rocket flowers on top. Enjoy! I love sipping on this tea while indulding in my mindfulness practice! You can read the recent article I wrote on mindfulness here.
