The Personal Moment I Did Not See Coming
On Friday, life threw me an unexpected curveball. I needed to go to a hospital for the first time in almost thirty years. It was supposed to be nothing more than a whisper of discomfort, the kind you brush off while focusing on work, clients, filming, self-care, and day-to-day life. I ignored it longer than I should have. When I finally walked through the doors of Saint Joseph’s, it was clear that what brought me in was the kind of situation that could have been devastating for someone with poor health. Someone else could have ended up in real danger.

Another person might have needed major intervention. A less nourished body might not have recovered so easily. I had a minor procedure, yet the doctor looked at me with genuine surprise as my labs came back glowing.
Hormones. Bloodwork. Immune markers. Body fat percentage. All strong. All balanced.
All supported by nearly 28 years of conscious plant-based living, herbalism, detoxification, and spiritual alignment. My resilience was my protection. This is why I teach what I teach.
