What I Eat as an Intuitive Healer & Holistic Wellness Coach
Food is not just fuel~its frequency, prayer, and connection. For more than 30 years, I’ve lived a mostly raw, gluten-free vegan lifestyle. Every bite I take is chosen with intention to nourish body, mind, and spirit.

My Philosophy: Food as Frequency
Holistic wellness begins with what we place on our plates. Each meal can either raise or lower vibration. For me, food is an offering back to the earth~a sacred act of alignment.
I didn’t arrive at this lifestyle overnight. My path was shaped through years of study, fasting, and training with some of the most respected voices in natural health.
My path to raw foods was born from a very personal battle. As a fitness and glamour model, I struggled with both bulimia and anorexia~two disorders that nearly destroyed me. For years, I was at war with my body. The turning point came when I chose to see food not as the enemy, but as medicine. That shift, and the healing it brought, was so profound that major publications have shared my story, including my raw and vulnerable article, “I Hated My Body So Much It Almost Killed Me.”
My Training in Natural Hygiene & Healing Arts
• In New York City, I studied with Gil Jacobs, who taught me the importance of colon cleansing and natural hygiene principles.
• At True North Health Center in Santa Rosa, California, I completed a 31-day water fast that reset my entire system.
• I immersed myself for three months at the Optimal Health Institute, practicing wheatgrass therapies, living foods, and juice cleansing.
• I trained in reflexology and Reiki, learning that healing is as much about energy as it is about food.
These experiences deepened my commitment to a living foods lifestyle.
Daily Staples in My High-Raw Vegan Lifestyle
Fresh Fruit & Fruit Porridge
Fruits are living water, fiber, and sunlight captured. I rotate between:
• Seasonal fresh fruits
• Frozen fruit blends
• Comforting fruit porridges
Wild Greens, Herbs & Sprouts
Huge salads form the foundation of my midday meals, packed with:
• Wild greens like dandelion or arugula
• Microgreens & sprouts
• Healing herbs such as parsley & cilantro
Sacred Fats for Cellular Healing
Healthy fats help absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and keep skin radiant. Favorites include:
• Avocados
• Olives - High quality olive oil such as Epiron olive oil
• Coconut
Homemade Dehydrated Crackers & Breads
Instead of processed gluten products, I prepare raw dehydrated breads from nuts, seeds, and veggies.
Raw Vegan Desserts
Dessert is not only allowed~it’s medicine when made from whole foods. My favorites:
• Seed-based treats
• Cacao truffles
• Date-sweetened brownies
- Dairy free ice creams
• Dark chocolate
• Gluten free cookies
Warming Foods for Balance
Though high-raw, I enjoy grounding, warm foods at night:
• Baked sweet potatoes
• Roasted squashes
• Lightly steamed vegetables
Mineral-Rich Sea Vegetables & Noodles
Minerals are the forgotten medicine. I use:
• Seaweed snacks
• Kelp noodles tossed in tahini dressings
Soups: Raw & Cooked
Soups are one of my favorite grounding meals, always made from scratch. I rotate raw gazpachos in summer and warming stews in winter.
Closing Thoughts: Every Bite as Prayer
Every meal is medicine. Every plate is a blessing. Every bite is an offering back to the earth.
My years of training in natural hygiene, colon cleansing, fasting, living foods, and energy medicine have only deepened my reverence for food as a spiritual practice. This lifestyle is not a diet~it’s a devotion, a way of honoring the body as temple and the earth as sacred giver. And while my focus is always on whole, living foods, I keep supplementation simple~some of the only supplements I take are from Juice Plus, which are concentrated whole-food capsules that align with my philosophy of nourishment from nature.
