Why I Chose to Partner with Physicians & Telemedicine Companies After Healing Naturally

Why I Chose to Partner with Physicians & Telemedicine Companies After Healing Naturally

My Story Nearly Ended Before It Began

If you've followed me for years, you know I haven't built my career on shortcuts.

I built it on survival.

Long before I became an intuitive healer, holistic wellness mentor, speaker, and educator, I was simply a young woman desperately trying to find her worth.

Like so many women, I believed thinner meant happier. Smaller meant more lovable. More disciplined meant more successful.

That belief nearly cost me my life.

For years I silently battled anorexia and bulimia. On the outside, people saw someone they believed had it all together.

I modeled, worked in fitness, and smiled for photographs. Behind closed doors, however, I was fighting a battle very few people knew existed.

Eating disorders don't simply damage your relationship with food.

They distort the relationship you have with yourself.

Every mirror becomes your enemy.

Every meal becomes a negotiation.

Every pound feels like life or death.

Eventually, my body began waving white flags.

My hormones suffered.

My metabolism slowed.

My digestion became compromised.

My nervous system lived in a constant state of stress.

There were moments I genuinely wondered if I had gone too far to ever recover.

That experience forever changed the way I view health.

Because true health isn't measured by a number on a scale.

It isn't measured by how small your waist becomes.

It isn't measured by likes on social media or compliments from strangers.

Real health begins at the cellular level.

It begins with nourishment.

It begins with healing.

And perhaps most importantly...

It begins with learning to believe that your body deserves love instead of punishment.

That realization became the turning point of my life.

Rather than continuing to fight my body, I made the decision to finally work with it.

The path back wasn't easy.

It wasn't quick.

And it certainly wasn't glamorous.

But it was worth every single step.

I never thought I'd say yes - Andrea Cox preparing salad in kitchen

How Living Foods, Fasting & Inner Healing Changed My Life

There wasn't one miracle that healed me.

There were hundreds of small decisions made every single day.

I began replacing processed foods with foods that were alive.

Fresh green juices became medicine.

Raw fruits and vegetables nourished me in ways I never imagined.

I learned how to fast properly, giving my digestive system the opportunity to rest while allowing my body to redirect energy toward healing and repair.

Movement transformed from punishment into celebration.

Yoga taught me how to breathe again.

Weight training helped me rebuild strength I thought I had lost forever.

Cardio became a way to support my heart rather than shrink my body.

But physical healing was only one piece of the puzzle.

The deeper healing happened within.

I had to confront limiting beliefs.

I had to examine the stories I had carried since childhood.

I had to stop tying my worth to my appearance.

I had to forgive.

I had to release shame.

I had to do the shadow work that so many people avoid because it asks us to look honestly at ourselves.

Healing isn't always comfortable.

Sometimes it's heartbreaking.

Sometimes it requires sitting in silence with emotions you've spent years trying to outrun.

Yet every difficult step moved me closer to becoming the woman I am today.

Then Life Tested Me Again

Just when I thought I had overcome my greatest challenges, another chapter began.

For years, I experienced relentless online harassment, impersonation, false accusations, and attacks designed to damage both my personal life and my business.

It would have been easy to become bitter.

It would have been easy to live in fear.

Instead, I chose to grow.

That season taught me that healing isn't something you accomplish once.

Healing is a lifelong practice.

The healthier you become physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, the more resilient you become when life presents new challenges.

That realization has shaped every recommendation I make to my clients today.

Because I don't just want people to lose weight.

I want them to build lives they don't need to escape from.

Then a group of physicians called me - Andrea Cox holding medical vial

The Conversation I Never Expected

About two years ago, something happened that surprised even me.

A group of physicians reached out and asked if I would consider working with them.

At first, I politely declined.

Many people have followed my work because of my passion for living foods, fasting, juicing, herbalism, detoxification, and natural healing.

I wasn't interested in becoming someone who simply promoted the latest trend.

The physicians understood that.

In fact, that was exactly why they contacted me.

They weren't looking for another influencer.

They wanted someone who believed that lifestyle should always be the foundation of health.

Over several conversations, I learned more about their philosophy.

They weren't replacing healthy habits.

They were supporting them.

That distinction mattered to me.

Why I Ultimately Said Yes

Many people assume healing has to be either natural or medical.

I don't believe it has to be one or the other.

I believe the greatest results often come from combining the best of both worlds.

I will always teach people to prioritize:

  • Nutrient-dense whole foods
  • Living foods
  • Daily movement
  • Restorative sleep
  • Stress management
  • Emotional healing
  • Healthy relationships
  • Sunlight
  • Hydration
  • Purpose

Those things remain the foundation of lasting wellness.

But I've also worked with thousands of clients over the years.

Some were doing everything right.

They were eating well.

Exercising consistently.

Sleeping enough.

Managing stress.

Yet they still struggled with stubborn weight gain, fatigue, declining muscle mass, changing hormones, or difficulty reaching the goals they had worked so hard toward.

That's when I realized that physician-supervised therapies could provide another evidence-based option for people who needed additional support.

Not as a replacement for healthy living.

As an extension of it.

I don't follow trends. I follow results. - Andrea Cox working on laptop

Why I Work With Multiple Telemedicine Companies

People often ask why I recommend more than one company.

The answer is simple.

No two people are exactly alike.

Every person has different goals, health histories, budgets, and medical needs.

That's why I work with multiple physician-supervised telemedicine providers, including companies such as Diet Doc, KOLD, and Amino Pharm.

Each gives clients access to licensed medical professionals who can determine whether specific therapies are appropriate based on an individual's health history and goals.

I believe people deserve options.

They deserve individualized care.

Most importantly, they deserve to make informed decisions alongside qualified healthcare professionals.

That philosophy aligns with everything I've believed throughout my career.

Health isn't one-size-fits-all.

It's deeply personal.

My Philosophy Has Never Changed

Some people have asked whether partnering with physicians means I've abandoned my roots.

The answer is an unequivocal no.

If you've followed me for years, you already know what I believe.

Food is information.

Movement is medicine.

The mind influences the body.

The body influences the mind.

Nature remains one of our greatest healers.

None of that has changed.

What has changed is that I've expanded my toolbox.

Today, I have more resources to help clients who may benefit from physician-guided care in addition to nutrition, movement, and lifestyle practices.

For me, that's not abandoning holistic health.

That's honoring it by recognizing that every person's path to wellness is unique.

My clients deserved more. Science became part of the solution - Cold pressed juice and medical vials

The Benefits of Physician-Supervised Peptide Therapy

Before I share why I recommend physician-supervised peptide therapy to certain clients, I want to be very clear about something.

There is no injection, supplement, medication, or protocol that can replace healthy living.

No peptide can undo years of poor nutrition.

No prescription can outwork chronic stress.

No therapy can compensate for sleeping four hours a night, eating ultra-processed foods, or neglecting your emotional health.

Health has always been and always will be a lifestyle.

That said, there are times when the body needs additional support.

Under the guidance of a licensed physician, certain therapies may help individuals address underlying metabolic challenges and support their overall wellness goals.

For the right person, under proper medical supervision, they can become another valuable tool in the toolbox.

Some goals need more than willpower. They need the right medical support - Andrea Cox with physicians

Who May Benefit from Physician-Supervised Care?

Every person is different.

That's why I never recommend a one-size-fits-all approach. However, physician-supervised programs may be appropriate for individuals who are struggling with:

Stubborn Weight Gain

Have you ever felt like you're doing everything right...

You're eating healthy.

Walking every day.

Going to the gym.

Drinking more water.

Yet the scale refuses to move.

You're not alone.

Hormonal changes, aging, metabolic adaptation, medications, sleep quality, stress, and many other factors can influence body weight.

Sometimes what appears to be a lack of willpower is actually a physiological issue that deserves compassionate medical evaluation.

Low Energy

Fatigue has become so common that many people assume it's simply part of getting older.

I don't believe exhaustion should become your identity.

If you're constantly relying on coffee to make it through the afternoon...

If you wake up tired after eight hours of sleep...

If you've lost the motivation to exercise because your body feels depleted...

Those are signals worth paying attention to.

Difficulty Building or Maintaining Lean Muscle

One of the most overlooked aspects of healthy aging is preserving muscle mass.

Muscle isn't simply about appearance.

It supports metabolism.

It protects bone health.

It improves insulin sensitivity.

It enhances longevity.

Maintaining lean muscle becomes increasingly important as we age, particularly for women navigating hormonal transitions.

Healthy Aging

I often tell my clients that aging is inevitable.

How we age is something we have tremendous influence over.

Healthy aging isn't about trying to look twenty-five forever.

It's about preserving vitality.

Remaining active.

Maintaining independence.

Protecting cognitive health.

Feeling strong enough to fully participate in life.

Metabolic Health

Your metabolism isn't your enemy.

It's your body's engine.

Supporting metabolic health through nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and physician-guided care when appropriate can have far-reaching effects on overall well-being.

Why I Recommend Telemedicine

One of the reasons I chose to partner with physician-supervised telemedicine companies is accessibility.

For many people, scheduling appointments, driving across town, taking time off work, or waiting months to see a specialist simply isn't realistic.

Telemedicine has changed that.

It allows individuals to consult with licensed medical professionals from the comfort of their own homes.

That convenience has opened doors for countless people who may have otherwise delayed seeking care.

It also creates a collaborative environment where medical providers can evaluate each individual's health history, goals, and needs before determining whether treatment is appropriate.

That personalized approach matters.

Why I Chose These Companies

People ask me all the time, "Andrea, why these companies?"

The answer is simple.

Because they align with my values.

I wanted to work with physicians who believe in educating patients rather than simply selling products.

I wanted companies that emphasize individualized care instead of cookie-cutter programs.

I wanted medical teams who understand that sustainable health requires more than a prescription.

Whether it's Diet Doc, KOLD, Amino Pharm, or another physician-supervised provider I work with, my goal has always been to connect my community with professionals I trust.

Real Stories. Real Transformation. - Client testimonials and reviews

My Promise to You

If you've been following me for years, you already know something about me.

I've never chased trends.

I've never promoted products simply because they were popular.

I've turned down more opportunities than I've accepted because protecting your trust means more to me than a paycheck.

That will never change.

If I recommend something, it's because I genuinely believe it has the potential to help the right person when used appropriately.

I don't believe in fear-based medicine.

I don't believe in miracle cures.

I believe in education.

I believe in informed decisions.

I believe in empowering people to become active participants in their own health journey.

Most of all, I believe healing is possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be overweight to qualify for a physician-supervised program?

Not necessarily. Each physician evaluates patients individually based on their health history, goals, and clinical needs.

Are these programs a replacement for healthy eating?

Absolutely not.

The most successful outcomes occur when medical guidance is paired with nutritious food, movement, quality sleep, hydration, and sustainable lifestyle habits.

Can I still work with Andrea as my wellness coach?

Yes.

Many clients choose to combine holistic wellness coaching with physician-supervised care to create a comprehensive approach that supports both lifestyle habits and medical guidance where appropriate.

Which company should I choose?

That depends on your goals, health history, and physician recommendations.

I've partnered with multiple trusted providers because no single program is right for everyone.

Final Thoughts

If someone had told me twenty years ago that I would one day partner with physicians, I probably would have laughed.

Life has a remarkable way of teaching us that growth doesn't always mean changing who we are.

Sometimes it means expanding our perspective.

Today, I still believe in living foods.

I still believe in juicing.

I still believe in fasting when appropriate.

I still believe in movement, sunlight, nature, emotional healing, and nourishing the body with whole foods.

Those principles remain the foundation of everything I teach. What has evolved is my understanding that healing doesn't have to fit neatly into one category.

For some people, lifestyle changes are enough.

For others, physician-supervised care may provide additional support that helps them reclaim their health, confidence, and vitality.

My mission has never been to convince you to choose one path over another.

My mission is to help you become the healthiest, strongest, and most vibrant version of yourself.

If you're ready to explore whether physician-supervised care may be appropriate for you, I'd be honored to help guide you toward the resources I trust.
